At Heal Yourself First, our mission is simple yet profound: to guide individuals in their journey toward healing from Complex PTSD by prioritizing the restoration of their own sense of self. We understand that trauma is complex, and so is the healing process. That’s why we offer more than just tools—we provide education, support, and a community where each person is encouraged to reconnect with their inner strength.
We believe healing starts within, through self-compassion and the courage to face what has been broken. In our lectures and speeches, we aim to inspire you to not only understand the nature of your trauma but also to realize the power of your own resilience. It is through knowledge, understanding, and self-care that we can begin to rebuild trust, heal deep wounds, and ultimately live a life that reflects our true potential.
At Heal Yourself First, we’re not just about surviving—we’re about thriving. And the journey to thriving begins when you choose to heal yourself, first.
Our approach
Awareness, Education, Recognition
To heal, you must first be self aware! We accomplish this by relating how your personal trauma, both childhood and job induced, may be impacting your actions and thoughts. This allows you to recognize the traits, both in yourself and others. Finally, we educate you on the options available for healing. The program encourages attendees to become mental health advocates for their agencies. Our founder, Dave Freeman, presents his personal story and path to healing.
